Immigrants Pass Ceremonial Torch In Baltimore As Part Of Relay Across America

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — It's a ceremonial passing of the torch in Baltimore, as part of the fight for immigration reform in the United States.

The "March to Victory: Relay Across America" is part of a nationwide effort to demand a roadmap to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants.

In Maryland, one in seven residents is an immigrant.

The torch is passing through nearly 30 states until May 1- the Major Immigrant National Day of Action.
