WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- It was a busy day for police officers in Washington, D.C. Thursday as they recovered thousands of illegal fireworks from the streets.
The district's police department tweeted Friday that more than 58,000 pieces of illegal fireworks were recovered from a single district.
