Man, child stable after being rescued from icy waters in Pikesville

BALTIMORE -- A man and a child were rescued from icy waters at the Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville Monday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Firefighters said the two were safely removed from the waters in the 7900 block of Park Heights Avenue within minutes. They were stable when they were taken to the hospital, officials said.
