Waldorf Man Accused Of Running Over Wife Whose Body Was Found At Strip Mall

WALDORF, Md. (AP) -- Police have arrested the husband of a Maryland woman whose body was found in a strip mall parking lot after she was repeatedly run over by a car.

Charles County police said Thursday that 32-year-old Brian Weyhenmeyer of Waldorf was arrested and charged with two counts each of murder and assault. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.

Weyhenmeyer is accused of killing his wife, 36-year-old Jennifer Weyhenmeyer, whose body was found behind a Pizza Hut at 3220 Crain Highway in Waldorf on Sunday.

Charles County police spokeswoman Diane Richardson says witnesses reported seeing the Weyhenmeyer arguing less than a half-hour before her body was found. Richardson says evidence of the crime was found on Brian Weyhenmeyer's car after police tracked him down to the couple's Waldorf home.
