Hunters Find Woman's Body Along Baltimore-Washington Parkway

LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- The U.S. Park Police say they've initiated a death investigation after some hunters found a female body along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway south of Baltimore.

Sgt. Anna Rose says the body was found near an abutment for the southbound span of the Patuxent River Bridge shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.

Police say they're working to identify the body. They say the Maryland medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
