Hoyas Learn To Fear The Turtle

Part of the Terrapins play by play team, Chris Knocke, joined the guys fresh off calling a heck of a game in College Park last night seeing the third ranked Terps outlast the Georgetown Hoyas. Melo Trimble led all scorers with 24 and Rasheed Sulaimon came up big with a three pointer at the end to seal the win for Maryland.

Knocke gives us his take on the big surprises and disappointments of the contest and some things to watch for moving forward. He didn't like what he saw from the Terrapins' big men defensively and saw some room for improvement from Jake Layman. When it comes do Diamond Stone, both Rob and Chris agree that there is a learning curve for him and he deserves some time to get acquainted with the team and system. He also tells us that while it wasn't the prettiest of wins, there was not a single head hung in that Terps locker room after the game.

Check it out!
