Route 108 Reopens After Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash In Howard County

HIGHLAND, MD. (WJZ) — Howard County Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision in Highland, Maryland.

The crash happened in the 13000 block of Route 108. The road was temporarily closed from the Montgomery County line to Hall Shop Road.

At around 1 p.m., a 2004 Nissan Maxima was driving westbound on Route 108 past Hall Shop Road when it left the road for an unknown reason and struck a guardrail, Howard County police.

Police Identify Driver In Fatal Howard County Crash

The driver and the only person in the car, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
