Hopkins OBGYN Suspected Of Secretly Filming 1,200 Videos Of Patients

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Prosecutors say the Johns Hopkins gynecologist suspected of secretly filming his patients took 1200 videos.

They claim Dr. Nikita Levy took those images of undressed patients using hidden cameras on pens and key fobs. That's according to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.

The gynecologist took his own life in February of last year.

The case is now the subject of a massive class action lawsuit.

Attorney Jonathan Schochor is now moving forward with the class action lawsuit, which he says involves 10,000 patients.

Schochor says the women in the lawsuit do not have to prove they were victims in order to be included in the suit.

The FBI and the Baltimore City Police Department has cleared Hopkins of criminal charges.

Schochor says he anticipated no criminal charges would be filed because Levy committed suicide.

Levy had been employed at Johns Hopkins since 1988.
