Hometown Product Steve Johnson Pitcher For The Mariners On Returning To Baltimore

Steve Johnson is a major league baseball pitcher who used to be a member of the Baltimore Orioles and is currently a member of the Seattle Mariners.

Steve joined Ed and Steve to talk about returning to Baltimore as a member of the Mariners.

Steve started by talking about how many tickets he had to get for family and friends saying "not too many around 10, a lot of my friends bought their own tickets when they realized we were coming to town." Steve also talked about the experience of returning to Baltimore this time as the enemy saying "it's definitely weird to be on the other side...I'm so used to going through the tunnel and into the home clubhouse."

Steve talked about his path from Baltimore to Seattle saying "I was let go from the Orioles, I appreciate everything they did for me it was a combination of all my injuries and not performing but I had a great time while I was here...I signed with Texas late in the off-season, it just didn't work out and within a couple days of being released I signed with the Mariners on a minor league deal."

Steve also talked about the performance of his Mariners this year, and replay being heavily involved in baseball this season.
