Holy Cross Never Trails, Beats Navy 67-52

ANAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Justin Burrell scored 17 points and Dave Dudzinski added 16 points and nine rebounds as Holy Cross cruised past Navy, 67-52 Saturday night.

The Crusaders never trailed, building a nine-point lead at intermission and leading by 20 points, 67-47 with under two minutes left after Burrell capped an 11-0 run by scoring seven straight points.

Holy Cross (11-9, 5-3 Patriot) has won seven straight and nine of its last 10 games with the Midshipmen, winning the last meeting by a similar, 66-57 margin. The Crusaders were 19 of 41 from the field (46.3 percent) and 24 of 30 from the free throw line.

Worth Smith scored 19 points to lead Navy (7-12, 2-6), shooting 6 of 10 from both the field and free throw line. Brandon Venturini added 15 points for the Midshipmen, hitting 6 of 15 from the field and 3 of 6 from long range.
