Hogan In Iowa for National Governors Association Meeting

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is in Iowa for the National Governors Association summer meeting.

Hogan has three events scheduled in Des Moines on Saturday.

He's attending a breakfast honoring Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad. Hogan also is participating in a food packaging event aimed at fighting hunger. He's scheduled to attend a closing reception Saturday evening.

Hogan was named chairman of the National Governors Association's Economic Development and Commerce Committee. He has been attending sessions with other governors at the event.
