HBCU Increases Security After Alleged Racially-Motivated Death Threat

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJZ) – An anonymous death threat was made against black students at Howard University Thursday morning, according to WUSA9.

Tweets from a Howard University student said that the suspect, who claimed to be a University of Missouri student, threatened to kill any black person on campus after 10 a.m.

The threat is unconfirmed.

This incident comes merely days after similar threats were made on the University of Missouri's campus.

According to a university statement, Howard University is conducting an ongoing investigation and security has been increased on campus and at area metro stations.
