Harp Seal 'Stuart Little' Released Back Into Wild After Rescued By National Aquarium

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A temporary resident at the National Aquarium is back in the wild this week.

Staff released Stuart Little on Friday at Assateague State Park. The harp seal was rescued in March in Ocean City, Maryland.

After giving him fluids and treating his infections, Stuart, or Mr. Little, quickly grew to 70 lbs and was ready to head back out into the ocean.

Stuart is the second seal released this year.
