Harford County Police Locate Person of Interest in Assault Case Sunday

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ) -- The Harford County Sheriff's Department have confirmed they have located a person of interest in the area of Holly Wreath Drive in Abingdon.
Police began seaarching the area Sunday morning in an attempt to locate a suspect in connection to an assault that occurred sometime Saturday night.
There is currently no threat to residents in the area and police will be clearing the scene shortly.

The person of interest has been located without incident. We are concluding our investigation and leaving the area shortly. There are no current safety concerns to the residents. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
