Hall Of Fame Jockey Gary Stevens Talks About The Preakness Stakes

Gary Stevens is a Hall Of Fame jockey who will be riding Firing Line at the Preakness Stakes.

Gary joined Ed and Steve to talk about trying to win the Preakness Stakes this Saturday.

Gary started off by talking about the small field with just 8 horses and the cause for that saying "I think because there are three powerful horses...I don't want to say they scared horses off but people will be regrouping and trying to spoil things at the Belmont." As for drawing in the 8th spot and if he was happy with the draw Gary said "most definitely, just before they started the draw I said it's really not a big issue...I'd like to draw on the outside of American Pharoah and Dortmund." Gary also talked about the different ways that where you are drawn help your race strategy.
