Hagerstown Man Indicted In Crash That Killed Bicyclist

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) – A Hagerstown man was indicted for the hit-and-run accident that killed a bicyclist on January 29, 2015.

Deputy First Class Carly Hose says 47-year-old John Bushman was struck by a hit-and-run driver at about 10:30 p.m. on January 29 on West Washington Street, also known as state Route 144, just west of Hagerstown.

On March 11, police say, 24-year-old Nadine Rager was indicted for that fatal accident. Rager was texting on her cell phone at the time of the accident, police said.

She is charged with manslaughter by vehicle, criminally negligent manslaughter by vehicle, hit and run and failure to stop and give information.
