Clearing skies across Maryland with colder temperatures
We start the work week with plenty of sunshine and temperatures running above normal by Midweek ahead of the next winter blast.
Sunny with above normal temperatures for Early Week
We'll have above normal temperatures and plenty of sunshine for the first half of the week before colder temperatures and a wintry mix will be possible on Thursday. We'll begin with afternoon temperatures in the mid 40s on Monday - remaining sunny with slowly warming temperatures reaching the lower 50s by Wednesday with morning lows in the 30s each day.
A Wintry Weather Mix is possible on Thursday - Staying Colder Through the Weekend
The First Alert Weather Team is watching for the possibility on First Alert Weather Day on Thursday as an area of low pressure develops near the Eastern Seaboard - the exact location of that storm center will impact how much wintry precipitation will be possible in Maryland. Several computer models are still coming together on this forecast and our weather team will continue to provide updates on any expected travel problems or measurable snow from this system on Thursday into overnight Friday morning. Highs on the Thursday will be dropping through the day from the 40s into the 20s by the overnight. It will be much colder with highs in the 30s and snow showers possible over the MLK Weekend.
