Gun Found At BWI Third Time This Month

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Harford County man was arrested Monday after he was found with a loaded gun at a BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport security checkpoint.

Transportation Security Administration officials report this is the third gun officers have found this month at security checkpoints.

The gun was found when his carry-on items went through the x-ray conveyor belt.

The 9 mm semi-automatic handgun was loaded with 15 bullets, including one in the chamber, according to TSA officials.

The man was arrested on state weapons charges.
