Gubernatorial Candidates Look To Secure Last Minute Votes
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- We are hours away from Election Day 2014 and Maryland's gubernatorial candidates are out and about, looking to secure last minute votes.
Pat Warren spent the day with Anthony Brown's campaign.
First Lady Michelle Obama took the podium inside the War Memorial. She was the big headliner for the Brown campaign Monday. Her appearance was being promoted all weekend.
The idea is to get out the vote.
"We want to see Michelle," said voters.
While lines formed along blocks downtown, Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown was making the rounds in south Baltimore.
Fresh off a fast-paced weekend, the Democratic for governor continues to campaign one-on-one with potential voters.
"This is the final push, a big surge," Brown said. "We're really excited about where we are. This has been a tremendous campaign. Fighting for working families and middle class values, that's what we're all about."
The First Lady encouraged people to vote and to tell everyone they know that Tuesday is the day to get to the polls, regardless of who you're going to vote for.
