Gubernatorial Candidate Heather Mizeur Holds News Conference

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Del. Heather Mizeur is holding a news conference to criticize some economic initiatives that have passed during the Maryland legislative session.

Mizeur, who is running in the Democratic primary for governor, has scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference in Annapolis.

She says the session has been one of business as usual. She is criticizing a bill that would raise the state's exemptions on the estate tax. She also is critical of a budget plan to use $200 million in money that was supposed to be reinvested in the pension system to plug budget holes.
