Group Home Where Child Died Gave Conflicting Reports On His Care

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- More than four months after a ten-year-old Baltimore boy died, state health workers say they found serious violations at the group home that cared for the child.

According to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun, the home, ran by LifeLine Inc. in Laurel, gave conflicting records on Damaud Martin's care and miscommunicated to emergency responders who tried to save his life back in July.

The state medical examiner ruled Martin's death a homicide in October, saying it was caused by complications from head trauma he suffered when he was abused in 2008.

The group home is no longer operating.
