Glen Burnie Woman Wins Ravens Seats For 20 Years

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- With the average price of a ticket to a Ravens game at more than $100, it's easy to see why so many people have no choice but to watch the team on TV.

Now, as Mike Schuh reports, a small bet has landed one fan two decades worth of tickets.

It's expensive to sit at a club level seat and the stadium is usually sold out. Brenda Grier would like to be there.

"We all gotta have hope," she said.

Sharon Christiensen is a huge fan.

"I've never been to a game," she said. "Never been and I hope I get to go."

Kenneth Council also hopes to win.

"I went to the Ravens game one time. I just sit in front of the TV every Sunday, yelling and screaming and watching the Ravens. I love the Ravens," he said.

The three of them are finalists in a lottery game to win season tickets for 20 years.

"I'm hoping I'm going to win but I have a feeling it's me," Grier said.

"I was given them as a birthday present," Christiensen said.

"Today is my birthday; it would be a celebration of good joy if it were me," Council said.

But Brenda Grier's name was the one revealed on the scoreboard.

"That ticket was good to me," she said.

Brenda already knows who she'll take to her first Ravens game: her husband, Ronald.
