Girl Scouts Announce New Cookie Flavors
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Apparently it's National S'mores Day, and the Girl Scouts are celebrating by announcing two new s'mores-flavored cookies.
The new treats -- a crispy graham cookie double dipped in a crème icing and a chocolatey coating, and a crunchy graham sandwich cookie with a chocolate and marshmallowy filling -- will be available during the 2017 cookie season.
The cookies will be the first new additions to the Girl Scout Cookie lineup since 2015.

The announcement also coincides with the 100-year anniversary of Girl Scouts selling their iconic delectables.
According to the organization's website, the group was founded in Savannah, Georgia in 1912 by Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low, who had a vision of preparing young girls to "meet their world with courage, confidence, and character."
Now, there are nearly 3 million Girl Scouts in 92 countries.
