Getaway Driver In 3 Bank Robberies Sentenced To 7 years

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to three bank robberies in which he was the getaway driver has been sentenced to more than 7 years in prison.

Thirty-six-year-old Dillian Tucker of Greenbelt was also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution at sentencing Thursday in federal court in Greenbelt.

According to his plea agreement, Tucker drove Reginald Lasley to three banks in Prince George's County in April 2012.

Prosecutors say Lasley presented notes demanding money at each bank, and fled in the vehicle with Tucker driving.

Lasley, 42, of Silver Spring, Maryland, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
