Gas Prices Hold Steady As Production Picks Up, At $2.77 Per Gallon In Maryland

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Despite more demand, gas prices are holding steady across the U.S., even dropping in some states.

AAA reports in 10 of the past 12 days, the national average for a gallon of regular gas was $2.86. Production is now back to pre-pandemic levels, keeping prices flat.

Marylanders are currently paying an average of $2.77 a gallon. That's up a penny from last week, but down from $2.84 last month.

Just a year ago, we were paying less than $2 a gallon.
