Gas Prices Continue To Increase

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Bad news at the pump. Gas prices are on a steady climb.

Here in Maryland, those prices are at the highest they've been in more than six months.

If you're filling up here in Maryland, the average price for regular is a few cents above the national average at $2.26. That's five cents more than it was last week and a full 20 cents more than it was last month.

AAA says this new spike is because a record number of motorists are on the road, increasing the demand for gasoline.
