Garrett County Names New County Administrator

OAKLAND, Md. (AP) -- Garrett County has a new county administrator.

The Board of County Commissioners named Kevin Null, former township manager and chief operating officer for West Manheim Township in Pennsylvania as administrator of Maryland's westernmost county.

Null also served 12 years at vice president on the New Windsor Town Council in Maryland. He worked 25 years in corporate security for two banks.

Null will start his new job on July 20. He is succeeding Monty Pagenhardt, who is retiring.
