Garage Explodes After Edgewater Fire
EDGEWATER, Md. (WJZ) -- A garage has exploded after a fire in Edgewater Sunday.
According to fire officials, they received a call for a fire in the 34-hundred block of Austin Drive Sunday afternoon.
When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy fire conditions coming from a two-story garage. The fire also spread to some nearby brush.
Sixty firefighters battled the blaze, which is now under control.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
