Funeral Announced For Senior Deputy Mark F. Logsdon

JOPPA, Md. (AP) -- Funeral arrangements have been announced for a second Harford County sheriff's deputy slain in Abingdon.

The McComas Funeral Home announced on its website that the visitation for Senior Deputy Mark F. Logsdon will take place next week at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa.

The visitation is set for Thursday and Friday from 2 to 9 p.m.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harford Community College in Bel Air.

Logsdon and Senior Deputy Senior Deputy Patrick B. Dailey were killed Wednesday by a gunman at an Abingdon shopping center. The gunman, David Evans, was killed himself in a shootout.

Dailey's visitation is set for Monday and Tuesday at Mountain Christian Church and his funeral will be held there on Wednesday.
