Freeze Warning In Effect Overnight

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A freeze warning will go into effect overnight for parts of the viewing area, Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram reports.

Freezing temperatures are expected late Saturday night through Sunday morning for the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas and into southern Maryland.

A large area of high pressure is centered over the nation's mid-section early this morning. This is promoting north-northwest winds at the surface across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.

Those planning on going out should dress warm as temperatures will drop down into the low 30s, with our north and western suburbs in the upper 20s.

Folks heading out early Sunday will need to bundle up!
