Man Arrested After Allegedly Stealing A Dog From A Home In Largo

LARGO, Md. (WJZ) -- Police have arrested a man for allegedly stealing a dog from a home in Largo during a burglary.

Fredrick Scott was arrested last week on a warrant, police said.

Scott broke into a home in the 9400 block of Grand Blvd where he stole a victim's dog and damaged property on November 7, according to a news release from the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found Scott getting out of his car in the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road on December 4 when they arrested him, police said.

He was taken to the County Department of Corrections and is charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property.
