Frederick Man Arrested For Attempted Arson At Home

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick police and fire officials have arrested a suspect for trying to set a house on fire.

Police say Harry Burton Keller, 45, of Frederick was arrested early Sunday. Police had been called to a home on Madison Street in Frederick for the report of a man who tried to set the house on fire with a portable heater attached to a propane tank.

The incident followed a dispute with other residents of the house.

Police say no significant fire ignited at the house, and the fire department quickly made the area safe.

Keller is being charged with attempted first-degree arson and related charges.
