Frederick County Discussing Plastic Bag And Straw Ban

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Frederick County could be the next jurisdiction to ban plastic bags and straws.

That item is on the agenda for Tuesday's county council meeting.

County Councilman Kai Hagen said he wants to start a discussion on the matter but isn't planning on introducing any legislation.

Earlier this year, Maryland banned the use of foam food and drink containers.
