Fox Tests Positive For Rabies In Baltimore County Neighborhood

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Health officials issue a warning after a fox tests positive for rabies in Baltimore County.

The rabid fox was found dead on Monday along Northwood Drive, between Vista and Tree lanes in Lutherville.

If you or your pet have had any direct exposure to a fox between August 16 to 30, contact the Baltimore County Department of Health at 410-887-6011.

Officials remind citizens not to provide food or shelter to wildlife or strays and to keep your pet's rabies vaccinations up to date.
