Four People Hurt, 1 Dead In Germantown Crash

GERMANTOWN, Md. (WJZ) — A deadly crash in Germantown has launched an investigation on Sunday.
The crash happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Frederick Road at Plummer Drive. Police said the driver was trying to make a turn when his car hit, crashing into a third car- before colliding into a carport and catching fire.
The driver, who police identified as Resham Lal, died at the scene.
Four other people were hurt.
