Foster Homes Needed For Puppies Rescued From Louisiana
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Last Chance Animal Rescue is actively seeking short-term foster homes for puppies who have been rescued from the floods in Louisiana.
On Saturday, a transport with 43 puppies and 10 to 15 adult dogs will arrive in Waldorf.
To qualify as a foster parent to the rescues, you must contact a foster coordinator at foster@lastchanceanimalrescue.org or call 240-412-5751. From there, a coordinator will provide further information and send over a foster application.
Last Chance Animal Rescue will provide crates, food and medical care. A 2 to 3-week time commitment is required and foster coordinators will match up a litter of puppies to meet the applicant's breed and size preferences.
Puppies will also be available for adoption after fostering in about two weeks. The puppies up for adoption will appear on Last Chance's adoptable dog album.
