Former Towson Star Terrance West Joins Ravens Practice Squad

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Running back Terrance West returns to Baltimore.

From Northwestern and Towson University, he signs with his hometown Ravens as a member of the practice squad.

It's been a circuitous route for West: drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round last year. He had a promising rookie season, but fell out of favor with the organization this year and was traded to Tennessee.

West played two games with the Titans before they cut him last week. Now he's a Raven.

The Ravens had West in their draft sights after seeing him star at Towson University, where in his senior season, he rushed for 2,500 yards and 42 touchdowns, leading the Tigers to the national title game.
