Former Orioles Pitcher Matusz Signs With Cubs

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Former Orioles pitcher Brian Matusz has a new team. Matusz signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs.

The Orioles traded Matusz to Atlanta last month, and the Braves immediately released him.

He joins the Cubs organization that's had success with former Orioles pitchers Jake Arrietta, Jason Hammel and Pedro Strop.
