Former Md. Lt. Gov. Brown Running For Congress

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland's former lieutenant governor will soon be back in the political spotlight.

Anthony Brown is running for Congress. He says he plans to run for the seat currently held by Donna Edwards.

Edwards announced earlier this week she plans to run for the U.S. Senate.

Brown was the Democratic candidate for governor this past November.

He lost to Republican Larry Hogan in a surprising upset.
