Flu Cases At Record Lows In Maryland, Data Shows

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- The number of people coming down with the flu in Maryland is at record low rates, according to the State Department of Health.

For the week ending February 6, the percent of people testing positive for the flu was 1.4%.

The State Department of Health says that's well below the rates from the last three flu seasons.

This follows a trend across the nation.

Coronavirus precautions, such as mask use and social distancing, are credited for the drop.
