Florida Man Pleads Guilty To Selling Unapproved Drugs

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- A Florida man has pleaded guilty to selling drugs not approved for human consumption for bodybuilding.

Sixty-five-year-old Gregory Tamborello of Lutz, Florida, pleaded guilty to selling misbranded drugs in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland.

According to his plea agreement, Tamborello owned and operated Precision Peptides in Lutz, through which he sold body-enhancing injectable drugs.

Prosecutors say in 2012, an undercover federal agent ordered drugs from Tamborello's website. Authorities say Tamborello shipped the drugs to an address in Columbia, Maryland.

Tamborello faces a maximum of one year in prison at sentencing on April 17.
