Florida Brewery Creates Edible Six-Pack Rings to Protect Marine Life

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WJZ)—A brewery in Florida is taking an innovative approach to protecting wildlife with six pack rings that feed the animals.

Saltwater Brewery, who is based out of Delray Beach, Florida, says they have created tested and prototyped the first ever "Edible Six Pack Ring".

The company says the rings are made with byproducts of the beer making process, that instead of killing animals, feeds them.

The brewery, who has partnered with WeBelievers, says the six pack ringers are 100%  biodegradable and compostable.

"We want to influence the big guys and kind of inspire them to also get on board," Chris Gove, President of Saltwater Brewery
