Flood Warnings, Watch Issued In Md. As Heavy Rains Move Through Area
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- There are both Flood Warnings as well as Flood Watch Advisories in effect for various parts of Maryland through to Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued an Areal Flood Warning until 6:45 a.m. for Baltimore and Harford County.
The National Weather Service says "up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of an inch are possible. Reports of flooding have been received from the City of Baltimore. Gauges from the area are rising rapidly."

There has been plenty of rain in the area, as rain has created flood areas in Baltimore City.
Bob Turk says there has been 1.28 inches of rain so far at BWI Marshall today.
Montgomery County area has received around three to four inches of rain. Southern portions of the region have been hit the worst, with Virginia getting four to six inches of rain by later Friday night.
"We do expect to see some flooding on the lower eastern shore by later this evening, with a lot of rain moving toward the east," says Bob.
A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the entire state through Saturday afternoon as heavy rain moves through the area.
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Prince George and Montgomery County until Sunday morning.
Parts of Montgomery County have already seen more than four inches of rain today, and some areas have experienced flooding.
Reporters with WUSA9 in D.C. took pictures and video of some of the damage that the heavy rain caused there earlier.

WJZ Meteorologist Tim Williams says the system will be moving through the area throughout will continue into Saturday, blanketing the entire state with sometimes "torrential" downpours at times.
The heavier rain should move out of the area Saturday, but some showers may linger.
