Flash Flood Warning, Watch In Effect For Parts Of Md.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A flash flood warning is in effect for  Harford County until 2:00 a.m. Friday.

Flash flood watches are also remain in effect until 12:00 a.m. for the Baltimore metro region.

The watch includes Anne Arundel; Carroll; Central and Southeast Howard; Central and Southeast Montgomery; Northern Baltimore; Northwest Harford; Northwest Howard; Northwest Montgomery; Prince Georges; Southeast Harford; Southern Baltimore.

Widespread heavy rain is expected as well as thunderstorms ahead of a coldfront slated to come to the area tonight.

One or two inches of rain is expected with heavy downpour at points causing flash flooding.
