#FIRSTWARNINGWX: Wind Advisory In Effect For Md.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A wind advisory is in effect for Maryland through 5 p.m. Monday, and blustery conditions are expected to continue.

WJZ Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram reports we will still be dealing with howling winds throughout the day.

"We can expect to see wind gusts over 40 miles per hour. The wind gusts are filtering in chillier air into our area."

Sunday only saw a high of 46 degrees, well below average for this time of year for the Baltimore area, by about nine degrees. BWI saw a wind gust recorded at 54 miles per hour on Sunday.

Conditions will improve as high pressure arrives on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing less wind. It will still be breezy on Tuesday, but not as intense as the next two days. Wednesday, should bring some good weather for Thanksgiving Day travel plans.
