First Lady O'Malley To Honor Foster Parents
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- First lady Katie O'Malley will be honoring foster parents at a reception at the governor's residence.
She will be hosting the seventh annual Maryland's Foster Parents of the Year reception on Tuesday at Government House, the name of the Maryland governor's residence.
The first reception was held in 2008, and the first lady has hosted each subsequent event.
The reception honors foster parents who have made exceptional efforts to help safely reunite children with their birth parents.
