Fireworks Canceled In Havre De Grace Sunday

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (WJZ) -- There will be no fireworks Sunday in Havre de Grace.

Due to recent record setting rain, the Independence Day celerbation at Tydings Park has been called off.

Police say the area is so saturated and flooded that it is unsafe to launch any fireworks.

The annual carnival is still scheduled at the park from 4 until 10:30 p.m.
