Firefighters Rescue 2 Children From Burning Maryland Home

FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Prince George's County say two small children have been rescued from a burning home in Fairmount Heights.

Officials say firefighters called to the 5100 block of North Englewood Drive around 3 a.m. Wednesday rescued two children, ages 3 and 6, from the home. Officials say two others, a 14-year-old and a 19-year-old, were able to get out on their own.

Officials say all four were taken to an area hospital with smoke inhalation.
