Firefighter Hurt In Fire At Laurel Restaurant

LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County fire officials say a firefighter was injured after a blaze at a Laurel restaurant.

Officials say the fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Monday at the Happy Fortune restaurant on Gorman Avenue, when an electric malfunction caused the fire that started in the ceiling.

Department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted that the hurt firefighter was treated for a shoulder injury and released. He says damage is estimated at $25,000.
