Fire Ravages Home After Propane Tank Explodes

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—A home in the Butler section of Baltimore County goes up in flames early Sunday morning.

Authorities say the call came in around 2:30 a.m. for a fire in the 15000 of Falls Road.

Baltimore County police say as crews fought to extinguish the blaze a 200-pound propane tank attached to the home exploded.

A tanker strike team was called to the scene because the home was located in an area with no fire hydrants.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation,
